GMC debuted the 2020 Hummer EV Edition 1 on Tuesday night. The Hummer is the first fully electric addition to the GMC line-up. The vehicle features an 800-volt 350-kilowatt DC fast charging battery system with an estimated range of 350 miles.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1321\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2022-GMC-HUMMER-EV-Rear-300x155.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"155\" \/>\r\n\r\n\u201cGMC has long been a leader in professional-grade trucks and the all-new GMC HUMMER EV will help to establish new standards in capability, maneuverability and driver control,\u201d said Al Oppenheiser, HUMMER EV chief engineer. \u201cOur goal was to develop the most capable, factory off-road pickup on the market. We\u2019re excited to show the world what 100-plus years of truck know-how can do when applied to EV power.\u201d\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1320\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/2022-GMC-HUMMER-EV-TruckBed-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe Hummer has five drive modes for whatever terrain you may be traveling on. An exclusive \u201ccrab walk\u201d feature allows the vehicle to move sideways. The Hummer has all the features one would need to have a successful off-road experience such has lockers, underbody armor, front and rear independent suspension systems and more.
