Just days after Webb made a much-anticipated return to Unadilla, Webb crashed in the second moto re-aggravating an injury at had early required surgery on his thumb. Webb and his team have decided it\u2019s best to sit out the remaining two rounds and heal for the upcoming SuperMotorcross World Championship Finals in September.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_10316\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]<img class=\"wp-image-10316 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Jo-Shimoda-Hospital-819x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"800\" \/> Jo Shimoda underwent surgery for a broken collarbone after a crash at Unadilla. Photo: Instagram\/Jo Shimoda[\/caption]\r\n\r\nMeantime, Jo Shimoda broke his collarbone in a crash at Unadilla. Shimoda sits fourth in the championship standings for SuperMotocross. His return to racing is currently undetermined. <em>\"<\/em>It felt great to be up front and battling for the lead, but unfortunately the battle didn\u2019t end the way we wanted it to. I ended up with a broken collarbone, and I\u2019ll have to get a plate put in. Obviously, that\u2019s not how we wanted the day to go, but we\u2019ll come back stronger once I\u2019m healed,\u201d said Shimoda.
