All eyes were on both of the Lawrence brothers on their Hondas. Jett Lawrence made his debut in the 450 class after a dominating Supercross season in the 250 class. Hunter continued forward momentum in the 250 class.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn Moto 1 for the 450 class, Jett was out front an easy holeshot. Ferrandis was running second but had no way of catching Jett who was just too fast leading wire to wire. Chase Sexton was able to get around Ferrandis at the midway point and secure second place at the checkered flag. The second moto was a repeat of Jett\u2019s stellar performance. Ferrandis this time put a little more pressure on Jett. Chase Sexton quickly inserted himself into the battle and soon it was Jett vs. Sexton. Jett finished the race with Sexton right on his rear tire coming home with a 1-1 for the overall.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 250 class, the first Moto saw Jalek Swoll grab the holeshot. RJ Hampshire soon moved to the lead but went over the bike in a rut. Hampshire and Swoll were able to continue. Hampshire was able to come away with the moto win. In the second moto, Hunter Lawrence grabbed the holeshot and stayed out front winning wire to wire. Justin Barcia was the closest rider within striking distance of Ferrandis by four seconds but the laps and time on the clock dwindled down and it was too late. Ferrandis had secured the victory. In Moto two, Ferrandis and Eli Tomac were battling for the lead. Ferrandis began having bike issues and his team posted \u201cno clutch\u201d on their sign board. Ken Roczen was also in the mix, but Tomac quickly made a move for the lead and the win. Roczen finished second. Ferrandis managed a third-place finish giving him the overall and more points for the season lead.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the first 250 moto, RJ Hampshire was in the lead, but a mistake allowed Michael Mosiman to get around Hampshire for the lead. Mosiman went down after battling with Jett Lawrence. A few laps later Jalek Swoll and Jett Lawrence both went down in crashes. In the end Hunter Lawrence took the victory. In the second moto, Hampshire was back out front, but another crash would end his lead. Justin Cooper moved to the lead, but Hunter Lawrence wasn\u2019t having any of it, sweeping both motos and grabbing the overall. This is the first race of the season on the east coast and third event of the summer tour.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nAdam Cianciarulo grabbed the 450 Moto 1 holeshot and was out front. As the moto got underway, Ken Roczen found himself briefly on the ground as did Chase Sexton. In what was a crazy race, Cianciarulo crashed into a lapped rider right before the finish. He regained his composure to take the win. Cianciarulo was back out with great speed in the second moto. Eli Tomac and Adam Cianciarulo battled for the lead as the moto got underway. Tomac cruised to a win. Cianciarulo settled for fourth. The consistency of Dylan Ferrandis\u2019 two second place podiums earned him the overall and points lead for the season stealing away Ken Roczen\u2019s hard earned red plate.\r\n\r\n\"\"\u00a0 \"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 250 Moto #1, RJ Hampshire had a solid lead, but Jett Lawrence was behind Hampshire making his way to the front. Suddenly, Hampshire\u2019s bike suffered mechanical issues, knocking him out of the race. When the dirt settled, Jalek Swoll took the Moto 1 win. In the second Moto, Colt Nichols was out front with the holeshot. Justin Cooper would take the lead away from Nichols. Cooper managed to hold off Jett Lawrence for the win.
