American Outdoor Events will not be moving forward with plans for a national short course series in 2024. Originally announced in September, AOE had planned to host races at several notable tracks across the country. AOE also promised drivers a comprehensive television package and large payouts.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nAOE will instead shift its focus back to growing the Mid America Outdoor park in Jay, Oklahoma. A statement from Jason Robinett and his team read: \u201cThe original focus and purpose of AOE and Mid-America Outdoors was a family focused outdoors park that impacts the Northeast Oklahoma area. AOE will refocus their energy more closely to home and more in alignment with the original vision of the founders.\u201d\r\n\r\nAOE also owns the Ultra4 and Great American Shortcourse Regional Series. Robinett\u2019s series will be backed by an advisory panel of high-level industry heavy hitters including Cal Wells, Paul Pfanner, Marty Fiolka, Joe Tripp and Scott Atherton. Each of the board members bring significant contribution from their accomplishments within the motorsports.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe new national series will offer drivers a $1.5 million purse payout along with a comprehensive television package that will be immediately viewable and not behind a paywall.
