It was a move watched by many as a statement \u2014 the series is expanding its geographical footprint and opening up the title race to more regional involvement. <\/span>\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_14194\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Jimmy Henderson swept the weekend in Pro4 at Glen Helen. Drivers in PRO2, PRO4, SxS, and buggy classes all entered knowing their result in San Bernardino could make or break their season. On the PRO2 side, Ken Roczen \u2014 the motocross and supercross star \u2014 made his debut in the series, adding fresh intrigue to an already stacked field. From the opening maneuvers to the final checkered flag, battles erupted at every turn. Tricks, air time, wheel-to-wheel action and some strategic gambles all played roles. In typical Glen Helen fashion, drivers had to manage dust, blind crests, and uneven terrain all while pushing for max speed.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_14195\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Ricky G had a successful weekend at Glen Helen in Pro2 claiming the top podium spot two days in a row. While Henderson swept the weekend on the podium, CJ Greaves secured his tenth Pro4 championship of the night. Over in Pro2, Ricky G also swept the weekend. Keegan Kincaid came out on top in the season points battle and clinched the championship. The points were tight between Connor Barry and Holtger. While Barry did make it to the podium, luck was Holtger\u2019s side as he came away with the ProLite Championship.\r\n\r\nWyatt Miller brought home the championship in ProSpec, Chaden Minder in ProBuggy and Owen VanEperen was awarded the championship in the ProSXS class.","excerpt":"

Greaves wasn\u2019t so lucky on Sunday after losing front wheel drive late in the race. Jimmy Henderson took advantage of the situation for the win. In Pro-2, Keegan Kincaid went into the race with plenty of momentum until a stall during the mandatory caution allowed Ricky Gutierrez to get the lead and hold off the rest of the field. Sunday, Kincaid held onto the lead fighting off Gutierrez for the win. Ricky Gutierrez struggled in the opening rounds at the Dirt City track back in June. This time around he had his truck dialed in. Ryan Beat was leading the race and was looking for another win until a tire let go forcing him into the hot pit. Ricky G seized the opportunity and took control of the field for his first win of the season. On Sunday, Cory Winner made it through all of the door-banging and contact to also secure his first win of the season.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_10179\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Jimmy Henderson secures his first win of the season at Dirt City. Coming off the last round at Dirt City in Lena, Wisconsin over the weekend, consistent podiums were extremely critical for drivers.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe Pro-4 battle between Jimmy Henderson and CJ Greaves has been nothing short of epic. Both have battled door-to-door all season long. In Saturday\u2019s round, CJ claimed the top spot on the podium. Sunday\u2019s race saw CJ spending the entire time trying to catch Henderson with no way to pass him. Henderson grabbed a much-needed victory. CJ is only nineteen points ahead of Henderson going into the next rounds of racing at Bark River.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nCory Winner brought home his first win of the season on Saturday, which just happened to be his birthday. Sunday, all of the accolades went to Mickey Thomas. Winner has been consistent on the podium so far this season and sits just one single point ahead of Thomas. Officials pushed back the schedule by an hour to get a busy day of racing in. It was decided that the track crew would work quickly, and podium celebrations would be eliminated to keep racing on schedule and get ahead of another rain storm that threatened Crandon all day.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nBoth Pro-2 and Pro-4 races would be run early in the day to accommodate the Cup race late in the afternoon. Saturday\u2019s winner, Keegan Kincaid opted not to run the Pro-2 event in order to save his truck. Unfortunately, per the rules, Kincaid would also not be allowed to run in the afternoon\u2019s Cup event. While track conditions were slick and muddy, Ryan Beat found the momentum he needed to claim the victory. Over in Pro-4, the battle brewed once again with CJ Greaves and Jimmy Henderson. This time things got heated. Greaves made contact with Henderson sending him into the wall with a flat tire. Greaves went on to finish in the top spot. Officials reviewed video of the incident and determined the contact was excessive and as a result, Greaves was docked three positions, knocking him off the podium entirely.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe Pro-Lite class saw a new winner. Kyle Greaves was out front for most of the race until he got a rear flat. That allowed Trey Gibbs to claim the victory. Chad Rayford came away with his third victory in the Pro Spec class.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nThe rain held off long enough for officials to hold the final event of the day, the Potawatami Cup race, pitting Pro-2 against Pro-4. Ricky Gutierrez came away with the holeshot until Johnny Holtger took over the lead. Several laps later, Pro-4 driver CJ Greaves caught Holtger and made a pass for the lead. Greaves was behind the wheel of his dad\u2019s Pro-4, a truck he had never driven before. Greaves own truck suffered mechanical issues earlier in the day. Greaves went on to win his second back to back Cup event. His dad, Johnny took home back to back victories in 2017 and 2018. Just thirty minutes after the final podium celebrations, the skies opened up and Crandon International Raceway became soaked leaving crews to pack up in the rain.","excerpt":"

In the final laps of Saturday\u2019s Pro-4 race, Henderson went door to door with CJ Greaves. Both raced hard but clean. Henderson proved to be just a little faster than Greaves when the checkered flag flew, taking his first career Pro-4 win.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\u201cTo get our first pro-four wins, it's been so hard fought, and everybody knows the adversity we went through,\" said Henderson. \"but to do it here in Crandon, Wisconsin. At the Big House, to get this first number one means the world to me and means the world to my team.\"\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe monkey is off of Keegan Kincaid\u2019s back. Kincaid struggled last season. Bad luck also struck him in at the opening rounds in Antigo. Kincaid finally got a Pro-2 victory in front of his hometown crowd.
