For a split second, I regretted it because there was no space, but I managed to get through, and from there, I managed the pace quite well,\u201d said team driver Johan Kristoffersson.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe race saw a new double-header format to make things more exciting. While Rosberg X Racing has secured back-to-back wins, Veloce racing sits first atop the point standings. Rosberg is just four points out of the lead as the season hits the halfway point. They had more victories over the course of the season.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe Jurrassic X Prix event winners were the X44 team of Sebastien Loeb and Cristina Gutierrez. The two also received extra points for being the fastest through the Continental Traction Challenge.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe JBXE team and Andretti United rounded out the second and third spots on the podium.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\u201cIt feels amazing to be the first-ever championship winners of Extreme E. Drivers Johan Kristofferssson and Molly Taylor gave Rosberg X Racing the first win of the series.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe duo had to dig deep in the desert to earn the victory. The team was assessed a 60-second time penalty caused by a technical problem.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\u201cWe\u2019ve worked so hard on this for many years, and finally everything has come together this weekend. It really has been beyond my wildest expectations. If I had written a script for the perfect weekend, I could not have come up with anything better than what we have witnessed these past two days \u2013 I\u2019ve never seen such extreme racing in my life,\u201d said Alejandro Agag.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nGanassi Racing\u2019s Kyle Leduc and Sara Price had a rough start to the event. Leduc crashed the car during a Friday\u2019s practice runs. The crew worked late into night to fix the vehicle for the race. Once they got going, Price went head to head with Mattias Ekstrom. After the driver change, Leduc was behind the wheel. As he was chasing down Claudia Hurtgen, they both made contact ending their runs for the weekend.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe cars will be loaded back onto the Extreme E ship\u00ad\u2013 The St. Helena where it will sail to the next Extreme E race venue, Lac Rose in Senegal which will take place at the end of May.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nFinal Results<\/strong>\r\n
