Red Bull KTM Factory Racing\u2019s Julien Beaumer has been called up as his replacement for the October 2-4 event in Ern\u00e9e, France. Hymas suffered the injury during Friday\u2019s free practice at the SMX World Championship finale at Thunder Ridge Nature Arena in Ridgedale, Missouri. After initially jamming his left wrist in a crash, further evaluation and a CT scan revealed small fractures in two wrist bones, along with concern about a ligament injury.\r\n\r\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Chance-Hymas_Honda-HRC-683x1024.jpg\")
\r\n\r\nThe injury is particularly frustrating for Hymas, who was originally selected to make his MXoN debut in the MXGP class after a strong finish to the Pro Motocross season. He scored a victory at Budds Creek and entered the SMX finale as one of the three riders selected to represent the United States alongside Cooper Webb and Levi Kitchen. Prado went 2-2 across the two motos to claim the overall win, while Hunter Lawrence charged to a 4-1 finish for second overall. Ken Roczen, who won the opening 450 moto, finished third overall with a 1-4 score. Prado's consistent 2-2 scorecard gave him the overall victory and further increased his championship advantage heading into the final round. Beaumer joined KTM's factory program in 2024 and has quickly established himself as one of the sport's rising stars. The Arizona rider earned his first career 250SX victory during the 2025 AMA Supercross Championship and finished second in the Western Division standings. His 2026 season took a difficult turn when a serious back injury forced him to miss the entire Supercross season. Beaumer returned for the outdoor championship, however, and has put together an impressive comeback campaign.<\/p>\r\n
