\r\n\r\nDylan Ferrandis was out front with the holeshot in the first 450 moto. Ferrandis could only hold off Jett for so long before a pass was made on the leader. Sexton soon grabbed second as Ferrandis was held to third and Jett took the win. In the second moto, the gate malfunctioned causing a restart. Aaron Plessinger grabbed the holeshot until Jett took it away 10 minutes into the moto. Sexton moved back into second. He was able to get close to Jett to strike for the lead but went over his bike. \r\n\r\nIn the first 250 moto, Haiden Deegan was out front. Deegan continued to extend his lead as every lap passed. When the checkered flag flew, Deegan was unchallenged and swept the moto. In the second 250 moto, Justin Cooper had the holeshot. Deegan was just a few positions behind passing motorcycles. In the final minutes, Deegan was in hot pursuit of the leader. Deegan soon charged past Cooper for the lead and win. Chase Sexton who went down early was back to apply pressure on Jett. At the checkered flag, Jett had won his 13th<\/sup> moto of the season. In the second moto, Sexton secured the holeshot running side-by-side with Jett. Sexton made a mistake in a corner allowing Jett to get by. Another error by Sexton dropped him to third as Cianciarulo made a pass for second. Justin Cooper appeared to challenge Shimoda late in the game but went down. Shimoda continued to maintain the lead and grab his first moto win of the season. \r\n\r\nThe three US riders defeated other teams from 31 countries. The event features riders in three classifications- MXGP, MX2 and Open. Each rider is scored based on where they finished in the combined motos and scores are tallied to determine the winning team. Results for the US team included Tomac going 1-6 in MXGP, Sexton\u2019s 2-3 in Open and Cooper\u2019s 9-4 finish in the MX2 class. Eli Tomac and Chase Sexton were also in the top pack until a crash dropped Sexton several positions back. Tomac made a pass on Dungey. Soon Tomac also passed Roczen. It wasn\u2019t long before Jason Anderson made a pass on Dungey then soon passed Roczen to run second. Tomac secured his 11th<\/sup> moto win of the season. In the second moto, Joey Savatgy claimed the holeshot. Ryan Dungey made a pass for the lead. Roczen also passed Savatgy for second. Roczen soon made his way to the lead. Anderson showed up and moved around Dungey. Anderson then set his sights on Roczen, taking the lead. Chase Sexton put pressure on Anderson late in the moto. Eventually Sexton got around Anderson, but that would be short lived as a crash would end Sexton\u2019s lead. Anderson reclaimed the lead with Roczen chasing him down. A stall would move Anderson to third as Roczen and Sexton made the pass. Sexton was back out front as he continued to battle with Roczen. Finally, Sexton won the moto as Anderson made his way to second. Anderson would take the overall with his consistency. \r\n\r\nIn the 250 class, Moto 1 would see RJ Hampshire out front with Michael Mosiman second. Mosiman made an opening lap pass Both battled for several laps before Jett Lawrence who was running third went on the attack. In his pursuit, Lawrence went down leaving Mosiman and Hampshire to continue their battle. Hampshire maintained the lead for the rest of the moto. In the second moto, Justin Cooper was ahead with the holeshot. A mistake by Cooper allowed Jo Shimoda to move to the lead. Cooper fought back and regained his position. Shimoda and Cooper continued to battle until Shimoda finally made it back to the lead again and stayed there to win the moto. RJ Hampshire took second and Jett Lawrence made his way to third. \r\n\r\nIn 450 Moto one, Dylan Ferrandis was finally out front with the holeshot. As usual, Ken Roczen wasn\u2019t far behind. Jason Anderson was running third until he had a small miscue that allowed Eli Tomac get around. Tomac wasted zero time making a pass to get to the lead. Sexton was quietly moving his way up through the pack and soon closed in on Tomac. It wasn\u2019t long before Sexton took over the lead and checked out. In the second moto, Tomac was back out front with the holeshot. In a repeat of the first moto, Sexton moved his way up again to chase down Tomac. Sexton waited for just the right moment, catching Tomac off guard before rocketing to the lead. \r\n\r\nIn the 250 motos, Justin Cooper had the holeshot. Cooper crashed allowing several riders to get by including Jo Shimoda who assumed the lead. Shimoda stayed there through the finish of the moto for the win. In the second moto, Justin Cooper was back out front with another holeshot. Cooper was soon challenged by Jett Lawrence but defended his moves every time. In the final attempt to pass Cooper, Lawrence crashed. Cooper soon put a ten second lead on the rest of the field to claim the win. The overall went to Jo Shimoda. \r\n\r\nOver in the 250 class, Jo Shimoda had a moto 1 holeshot. The Lawrence siblings were right behind. Soon Hunter seized the lead. Jett followed a short time later getting around Shimoda for second. Hunter would win with Jett second and Shimoda third. In the second moto, Justin Cooper found himself out front. Shimoda and the Lawrence siblings were right behind. At some point Hunter went down allowing Jett to move into third. Jett eventually made a pass on Shimoda. Jett was never able to catch Cooper who grabbed his first season wire to wire win. \r\n\r\nAntonio Cairoli had the holeshot. Roczen was out front early in first moto but it wasn\u2019t enough to hold off Eli Tomac. In the second moto, Cairoli scored another holeshot, but just like earlier in the day, it was short lived as Roczen immediately moved to the front. Chase Sexton was able to get past later in the moto. \r\n\r\nThe 250 class saw Levi Kitchen out front winning wire to wire. In the second moto, it was all about the Lawrence brothers. Hunter grabbed the holeshot. Behind him, Justin Cooper and Jett Lawrence were battling. Jett finally made a pass for second.
