The company started by Ken Block is now owned by private equity partners and owns the Wheel Pros brands along with several other brands that include Poison Spyder and 4-Wheel Parts. Now, ORW (Off-Road Warehouse) is purchasing all of the 4-Wheel Parts assets which would put CEO Greg Adler right back in control of the company he managed when he was CEO of TransAmerican Auto Parts. Adler currently sits as the President of ORW.\r\n\r\nHoonigan is also shedding its Poison Spyder Brand which will be purchased by ARB. We are laser-focused on Hoonigan\u2019s core strengths and are extremely pleased with this outcome as it represents a key step forward in our path to transition our business to a product-based operating model. According to Block\u2019s Instagram page, he was in Park City, Utah snowmobiling and had posted videos of he and his crew using equipment to groom a track at his ranch. The Wasatch County Sheriff's Office in Utah says they received a 911 call reporting a snowmobile accident in the Mill Hollow area. They say Block was riding a snowmobile on a steep slope when it upended and landed on top of him.\r\n\r\nThe following statement was posted to the Hoonigan Instagram page:\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nBlock was a rally car champion competing in several X-Games and World Rally events. Menzies, who is from Las Vegas qualified for the race right in his own backyard. Menzies has won the last two Vegas to Reno races and is going for his third overall win. It was a heartbreak for the Concrete Motorsports team of Harley Letner and Kevin Thompson. Letner looked fast out of the gate in qualifying. Letner took a turn too fast on the course and rolled the truck. The team will have their work cut out for them starting the race at the back of the pack. Letner and Thompson remain undefeated this season in Best in the Desert.
