With the clock quickly running down to secure a venue the series is pivoting to a UTV Trail Ride.\r\n\r\nThe Freedom Trail ride will be a two-day, 325-mile fun ride starting in Caliente. The ride will feature historical stops across the Nevada route. Legacy racing says this is a perfect opportunity to bring the family along. The route will wind through some previous race courses as well as new never before seen terrain.\r\n\r\nThe two-day UTV only ride will take place Friday September 9<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022, and Saturday September 10<sup>th<\/sup>, 2022. Mileage will total 160 each day. The series is adding events for 2022 after hearing from racers and sponsors. The series kicks off 2022 as the first race event of the year in Pahrump with the Desert Showdown. Racing in Laughlin is finally on the schedule with the Nevada Hare Scrambles. Also, back by popular demand, is the Baja Nevada event, this time run on a single day with over 650 miles of race course. The series will also head to Primm next year for a Stateline Shootout. The 600-mile race started north of Alamo. Day one ended in Tonopah where the following day, racers ran another 300 miles to the finish in near Pahrump. A qualifying session was held for the unlimited classes. The race had 132 entries spread across motorcycle, car and truck classes.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2391\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/LegacyRacingBajaNevadaLetner-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>\r\n\r\nComing off a winning streak at another desert series, Kevin Thompson and Harley Letner entered their unlimited truck in the Legacy Baja Nevada race. They didn\u2019t even need to clean the dust off of it. The team came in first both days earning them the overall win. Eric Hustead and TJ Flores took second in the class. Jake Johnson also pulled off an overall Class 1 win.
