[{"id":5216,"permalink":"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/2022\/06\/05\/jason-anderson-wins-at-hangtown\/","title":"Jason Anderson Wins at Hangtown","content":"Round 2 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship was held in Northern California at Carson City Motorsports Hangtown race track. Jason Anderson came out swinging to win a long-awaited victory in the series.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn Moto One, Chase Sexton had an early lead with a successful holeshot. Jason Anderson was right there with Ken Roczen also in the mix. Soon the battling focused solely on Anderson and Sexton. Towards the end of the moto, Anderson made a move around Sexton finishing with just three tenths of a second. In the second moto, Antonio Cairoli was out front for the first time, but it was short lived as Roczen moved to the lead. Anderson spent much of the moto working his way up from sixth-place start. Up front Sexton and Roczen battled for the lead. Tomac soon entered the battle. Tomac made a pass for the lead and kept Sexton behind him the whole time. Anderson\u2019s third place finish earned him the overall moto win.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 250 class, Michael Mosiman battled to hold on to the lead and win. In the second moto, Jett Lawrence battled to the front and took the win going 3-1 and earning the overall for a second weekend in a row.\r\n\r\n450 Class Championship Standings (Round 2 of 12)<\/strong>\r\n
