Jason Anderson was back at the track for his second career victory there.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nWhen the gate dropped in the first moto, Ken Roczen had the lead with Ryan Dungey right behind. Eli Tomac and Chase Sexton were also in the top pack until a crash dropped Sexton several positions back. Tomac made a pass on Dungey. Soon Tomac also passed Roczen. It wasn\u2019t long before Jason Anderson made a pass on Dungey then soon passed Roczen to run second. Tomac secured his 11th<\/sup> moto win of the season. In the second moto, Joey Savatgy claimed the holeshot. Ryan Dungey made a pass for the lead. Roczen also passed Savatgy for second. Roczen soon made his way to the lead. Anderson showed up and moved around Dungey. Anderson then set his sights on Roczen, taking the lead. Chase Sexton put pressure on Anderson late in the moto. Eventually Sexton got around Anderson, but that would be short lived as a crash would end Sexton\u2019s lead. Anderson reclaimed the lead with Roczen chasing him down. A stall would move Anderson to third as Roczen and Sexton made the pass. Sexton was back out front as he continued to battle with Roczen. Finally, Sexton won the moto as Anderson made his way to second. Anderson would take the overall with his consistency. Tomac also reclaimed the season point lead.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 250 class, Moto 1 would see RJ Hampshire out front with Michael Mosiman second. Mosiman made an opening lap pass Both battled for several laps before Jett Lawrence who was running third went on the attack. In his pursuit, Lawrence went down leaving Mosiman and Hampshire to continue their battle. Hampshire maintained the lead for the rest of the moto. In the second moto, Justin Cooper was ahead with the holeshot. A mistake by Cooper allowed Jo Shimoda to move to the lead. Cooper fought back and regained his position. Shimoda and Cooper continued to battle until Shimoda finally made it back to the lead again and stayed there to win the moto. RJ Hampshire took second and Jett Lawrence made his way to third. The points battle has been tight for Chase Sexton and Eli Tomac. Sexton\u2019s to 1-1 dominant sweep allowed him to reclaim the points lead. Here is what happened during the motos.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn 450 Moto one, Dylan Ferrandis was finally out front with the holeshot. As usual, Ken Roczen wasn\u2019t far behind. Jason Anderson was running third until he had a small miscue that allowed Eli Tomac get around. Tomac wasted zero time making a pass to get to the lead. Sexton was quietly moving his way up through the pack and soon closed in on Tomac. It wasn\u2019t long before Sexton took over the lead and checked out. In the second moto, Tomac was back out front with the holeshot. In a repeat of the first moto, Sexton moved his way up again to chase down Tomac. Sexton waited for just the right moment, catching Tomac off guard before rocketing to the lead. When it was all over, Sexton had built a 15 second lead on Tomac for the win.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 250 motos, Justin Cooper had the holeshot. Cooper crashed allowing several riders to get by including Jo Shimoda who assumed the lead. Shimoda stayed there through the finish of the moto for the win. In the second moto, Justin Cooper was back out front with another holeshot. Cooper was soon challenged by Jett Lawrence but defended his moves every time. In the final attempt to pass Cooper, Lawrence crashed. Cooper soon put a ten second lead on the rest of the field to claim the win. The overall went to Jo Shimoda. Tomac came away with another overall win at the latest round at Red Bud MX in Buchanan, Michigan.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the first 450 moto, Tomac was on a mission with the lead and the holeshot. Tomac never looked back and the rest of the field never caught him. Chase Sexton finished the moto in second, 6.3 seconds behind Tomac. Joey Savatgy finished third. In the second moto, Justin Barcia had the holeshot. Ken Roczen quickly moved into the top spot with Eli Tomac nearby. As the laps ticked away, Tomac inched closer to Roczen. With 15-minutes to go in the moto, Tomac made his move for the lead and the rode home for another win. Chase Sexton still has the points lead by seven over Tomac.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 250 class, the first moto saw Hunter Lawrence out front with the holeshot. Jo Shimoda and Jett Lawrence were running second and third. As the battle continued for several laps, Jett made an aggressive pass on a downhill section for the lead. With 10-minutes remaining in the moto, Jett\u2019s bike came to a stop with a mechanical issue. Hunter re-took the lead with Shimoda hot on his heels. Shimoda\u2019s persistence paid off, and he earned his first career moto podium. Stilez Robertson finished third. \u00a0In the second moto, Ryder Difrancesco took the holeshot in his pro debut. Jason Anderson came out swinging to win a long-awaited victory in the series.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn Moto One, Chase Sexton had an early lead with a successful holeshot. Jason Anderson was right there with Ken Roczen also in the mix. Soon the battling focused solely on Anderson and Sexton. Towards the end of the moto, Anderson made a move around Sexton finishing with just three tenths of a second. In the second moto, Antonio Cairoli was out front for the first time, but it was short lived as Roczen moved to the lead. Anderson spent much of the moto working his way up from sixth-place start. Up front Sexton and Roczen battled for the lead. Tomac soon entered the battle. Tomac made a pass for the lead and kept Sexton behind him the whole time. Anderson\u2019s third place finish earned him the overall moto win.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 250 class, Michael Mosiman battled to hold on to the lead and win. Chase Sexton went down on the first lap. Several laps later, Aaron Plessinger went down while running in second. Roczen ended up winning the moto. Points leader Dylan Ferrandis finished second. In the second moto, Chase Sexton had collected himself and was ready to race. He grabbed the holeshot to lead the field. Roczen continued to move on a mission, getting around Sexton for the lead and the win. Roczen\u2019s two wins earned him the overall.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn 250 Moto 1, Justin Cooper had the holeshot. He had a lot of pressure from Jett Lawrence, but Cooper was able to maintain the lead and secure the win. \u00a0In Moto 2, Justin Cooper was back out front with another holeshot. Jeremy Martin wasted no time getting to the front and stealing the lead away from Cooper. Jett Lawrence wasn\u2019t one to be counted out, getting around both Cooper and Martin for the lead, the win and the overall.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe season is quickly winding down with just a few race weekends to go. Dylan Ferrandis continues to have a big lead in the points.
