Per AMA rules, since more than three laps were completed, the riders were lined up for a staggered start when the race resumed. Levi Kitchen shot to the lead with just two laps to go. Kitchen held on for the win and Anstie stayed in second, unable to pass Kitchen. RJ Hampshire rounded out the podium in third. The event venue was Marvel Stadium in Docklands. Roczen, who stood atop the points in the 2022 inaugural season was back to defend the 2023 title. Also securing a championship in the 250 class was Max Anstie.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8190\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/2023-WSX-Australia_Roczen-Kissing-Trophy-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nNineteen points separated the top four riders in the WSX class. Joey Savtagy came into the weekend as the points leader. Roczen however showed he was the strongest rider all night going 1-1-3.
