[{"id":3329,"permalink":"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/2021\/09\/22\/scott-steinberger-named-grand-marshall-for-norra-500\/","title":"Scott Steinberger Named Grand Marshall for NORRA 500","content":"NORRA has named PCI\u2019s Race Radios Scott Steinberger as Grand Marshall for the upcoming NORRA 500.\r\n\r\nScott has continued on the \u201cWeatherman\u201d legacy started by his father Bob Steinberger. The \u201cWeatherman\u201d is a critical radio link to communications in Baja, assisting racers. Steinberger has participated in NORRA since it was resurrected in 2010.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3332\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/NORRAScottSteinbergerPCI-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/>\r\n\r\n\u201cI\u2019ve always loved being in Baja,\u201d says Scott. \u201cWhen I raced the Baja 1000, it was always a lot of stress. You went down there, and it was always something you had to tough out. You would hope to finish, but if you didn\u2019t your time was up. You would turn North, and go home exhausted; everything was just a blur. NORRA has the same racing challenges, but gives you several days to enjoy the entire Baja experience. You get to cherish Baja, and all the friends you make along the way.
