Coming off the high of winning two Champ Off Road season championships on Saturday, Greaves went out during the Pro 4 vs. Pro-2 Cup event, battling through the carnage to bring home his fifth Red Bull Cup win. The Pro 2 vs. Pro 4 race is an all-out knockout fight in the final race of the weekend at Crandon.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_10488\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" CJ Greaves celebrates his fifth Cup win.[\/caption]\r\n\r\nPro-2 roared off the line just ahead of Pro-4 to get the head start on the track. After a full restart, Mickey Thomas led the field. Greaves, driving a Pro-4 only needed half the race to catch Thomas. Unfortunately, a lap later, Thomas would be forced to pull off the track after a fire started in the cab. The pressure was off Greaves by that point as he cruised to another Cup win, celebrating with the signature shot gun and giant Red Bull Cup along with multiple checks. Henderson moved into the lead. Unfortunately, Henderson was forced into the hot pits allowing Adrian Cenni to take command of the race. Coming off the last round at Dirt City in Lena, Wisconsin over the weekend, consistent podiums were extremely critical for drivers.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe Pro-4 battle between Jimmy Henderson and CJ Greaves has been nothing short of epic. Both have battled door-to-door all season long. In Saturday\u2019s round, CJ claimed the top spot on the podium. Sunday\u2019s race saw CJ spending the entire time trying to catch Henderson with no way to pass him. Henderson grabbed a much-needed victory. CJ is only nineteen points ahead of Henderson going into the next rounds of racing at Bark River.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nCory Winner brought home his first win of the season on Saturday, which just happened to be his birthday. Chad Rayford made his debut in the Pro Spec class at the Championship Off Road Racing Series. Rayford and his crew worked in the off-season to convert his older pro-lite race truck into a competitive Spec Truck. After some bad luck in Saturday\u2019s round 1 that forced Rayford to serve an on-track black flag penalty, he was back out front in Round 2. Nobody could catch Rayford as he snagged an early lead. In the final laps, defending champion Gray Leadbetter made a hard charge at Rayford, but he was able to hold her off finishing .886-of a second ahead at the checkered. With equally matched trucks, the Spec class was designed to be a driver\u2019s class.\r\n\r\n\"\"\u00a0 \"\"\r\n\r\nIn Pro-2, Mickey Thomas and Cory Winner battled for early leads. As the laps wound down, Thomas continued to stretch his lead all the way to the checkered flag. Ryan Beat dug deep and finished second ahead of Winner. Beat holds a four-point lead in the standings leaving the Antigo season opener.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn Pro-4, it was a repeat performance for CJ Greaves. Cole Mamer initially gave Greaves a good run, but bad luck struck and Mamer\u2019s day would come to an end after breaking the left front suspension on the truck. Kyle Chaney attempted shut down Greaves on the restart. In the end Greaves came away with the win and weekend sweep in the class. In total Greaves leaves Antigo with five trophies after a Pro Turbo Side-by-Side sweep.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nBrody Eggleston claimed his first career Pro Lite win in Round 2. Class 11 bugs, UTV classes and Pro Buggies also got their chance at running for a World Championship. Drivers hang it all out and put everything on the line in an all-out battle and door banging smash fest. When the dust settled on the track and the checkered flag flew ten laps later, CJ Greaves had clawed his way through the carnage to the front and reclaimed the title. A title he has previously won three other times. Greaves now becomes the only driver with four Cup titles at Crandon. The tight, technical racing at Dirt City kept racers on their toes. With the halfway point over in the season, points were critical. No one knows that better than Kyle Leduc.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nLeduc finally saw two long-awaited wins this season in Pro 4. While Leduc has claimed spots on the podium this season, a win has eluded him until now. When the race got started, Leduc was outside of the top five. In the first lap, several trucks got collected in a crash. Leduc quickly moved into the top four. He sat patiently, moving around Adrian Cenni, then Scottie Lawrence right before the mandatory caution. This put him within striking distance of leader Cole Mamer. As the race restarted, Leduc jumped to the lead and stayed there for the victory. In Round 8, Leduc battled hard for his win. In the first turn, Leduc hit the wall sending him several spots back. CJ Greaves maintained the lead. On the second lap, Leduc once again hit the wall in the same spot, this time sitting on top of the concrete barrier. A caution would come out and Leduc was able to get himself back on the lead lap. Leduc then became a man on a mission, making immediate passes before catching up to CJ. Leduc made a pass on CJ after the leader went wide on a right turn. CJ would never be able to get his spot back. Leduc sits 31 points behind CJ Greaves in the standings.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nIn Pro 2, Mickey Thomas sat quietly while the leaders took themselves out. Thomas moved to the lead with Jerett Brooks hot on his tail. Thomas was able to hold off Brooks for the win. Doug Mittag is another driver without a win this season. That all changed in Round 8. Mittag found himself battling most of the race with Ricky Gutierrez. After the mandatory caution, Mittag put his head down and went to work checking out and cruising to his first victory of the season. Jerett Brooks continues to the hold down the points lead.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nPro Lite continues to be an extremely competitive class and the racing at Dirt City did not disappoint. Kyle Greaves and Brock Heger started out front, side by side. It was Greaves who would grab the early lead. Behind Heger and Greaves was Trey Gibbs. Gibbs wasted no time getting past the leaders but lost positions after spinning out. Heger and Greaves were back at it. Heger finally took the lead. Greaves slowed a bit but held of Gibbs to finish second. After learning some lessons in Round 7, Gibbs sat quietly for most of the race. Towards the very end he struck, passing the leaders and claiming a win. He never looked back, leading wire to wire. Thousands of fans packed Crandon to watch their local hero win the 52nd<\/sup> Cup race. Johnny Greaves finished second but needed just a few more laps to catch Kincaid.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nGreaves was still victorious, winning the first race of the day which was the Pro-4 Crandon World Championship race. Greaves is also coming off momentum, winning the Championship Off Road season finale.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nThe Pro-Lite race saw several crashes and cautions. Cole Mamer never lost sight of the prize, taking the victory. Mamer had a lot of pressure from Brock Heger. The series held rounds 5 & 6 at ERX. The property was originally built for snowmobiling until track owner Chris Carlson decided he wanted to also host short-course racing. Over the last few years, the track has been expanded with big jumps, sweeping turns and a split lane that adds to the racing excitement.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nIn Round 5 Pro-2, Jerett Brooks started side-by-side with Mickey Thomas. As the laps continued, Ryan Beat began pressuring both drivers in an effort to get to the front. Beat moved in front of Thomas and started coming after Brooks. Unfortunately, Brooks\u2019 truck stalled out and Beat took over the lead. Thomas and Beat would continue to battle door to door, but on the last lap something happened to Ryan Beat\u2019s truck and Thomas took his first Championship Off Road victory. Trevor Leighton was out front when the green flag dropped in round 6 and never looked back going wire to wire. Kyle Kleiman finished second.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nIn the Pro-4 class for Round 5, RJ Anderson was out front, racing ERX for the first time. An over-rotation would open the door for CJ Greaves and Kyle Leduc to both make a pass for the lead. Anderson would later get tangled up with Johnny Greaves. Kyle Leduc ended up with the victory. CJ Greaves and RJ Anderson battled for the lead, back and forth. It wouldn\u2019t be long before Kyle Leduc inserted himself into the battle. Leduc would make a mistake and get counted right back out of the battle. When the dust settled Anderson bounced off k-rail allowing Greaves to keep forward momentum for the win. Kyle Leduc was able to get by Anderson for second.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nBrock Heger claimed in another Pro-Lite win in Round 5. Just a day later in Round 6, Heger wasn\u2019t so lucky.
