Tomac took the win at the latest round of Supercross in Detroit over the weekend. This is Tomac\u2019s third straight Supercross win. He now has a commanding 42-point lead in the season standings.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nCade Clason had the holeshot when the gate dropped for the main event. Justin Bogle then made a pass for the lead. Within two minutes, Justin Barcia made a move to the front. Jason Anderson and soon Eli Tomac were putting pressure on the leaders. By the time the race was halfway over, Tomac was leading and cruised to the finish for a win.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nOver in the Eastern 250SX Regional class, Jett Lawrence was on a roll. Lawrence had the holeshot and lead. He was challenged by Stilez Robertson who briefly took the top spot. Lawrence wasn\u2019t having any of it and regained the lead back to go on and win the event. Eli Tomac now has back to back Supercross wins. Tomac is the only racer thus far to get more than one win in the season.\n\n\"\"\n\nTomac had secured holeshots in both heat races. When it came to the main 450SX moto, Chase Sexton was out front. Tomac sat third. Tomac sat quietly there for most of the race. In the final five minutes of the race Tomac pushed into second, then made his move on Sexton for the lead and the race win.\n\n\"\"\n\nOver in the Western Regional 250SX class, Hunter Lawrence grabbed his first win of the season. Lawrence has always had podium spots during the last four rounds. Christian Craig got second and Jo Shimoda third. Craig continues to lead the championship points standings. Just like the last few rounds, racing was competitive along with some of the usual drama.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nKen Roczen snagged the holeshot with Malcolm Stewart in second place. Jason Anderson made a quick move around Stewart. He then set his sights on Roczen, making an aggressive move that cost Roczen. Both riders collided in a sand section sending Roczen off the bike. Anderson managed to stay on the bike and continued to run the lead. Half-way into the race, Anderson high-sided off the track allowing Eli Tomac to cut under and finish the race for the win. Anderson finished second and Tomac third.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the Western Regional 250SX class, Vince Friese was out front at the start of the race. Also battling for the lead was Michael Mosiman, Christian Craig and Jo Shimoda. With Mosiman in the lead, Craig began his hunt to get out front. Friese was running in third when a crash in the whoops knocked him off the bike. Hunter Lawrence moved into third. As Friese was getting back up, he was hit by Shimoda. The contact sent Shimoda off the bike. As the time and the laps ticked away, Craig made his move around Mosiman. Mosiman attempted to regain the spot but was unsuccessful. Craig went on to win the race. He also leads the season point standings ahead of Hunter Lawrence.\r\n

Winning his heat race, Roczen went onto win the main event. It was Chase Sexton who had the holeshot when the gate dropped. Sexton had also won his heat race. Roczen was quickly there to steal away the lead.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nAs the race went on, Sexton nearly contacted one of his Honda teammates, Adam Cianciarulo and in mid-air getting out of shape and crashing in a turn. Sexton crashed again half a lap later. Late in the race, Cooper Webb made a hard charge, taking second in attempt to chase down Roczen.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe Western Regional 250 class started with injuries and riders going down in their heat races including Colt Nichols, Jalek Swoll and Carson Brown. When it came down to the main event, Seth Hammaker had the holeshot, but Vince Friese moved in early to get out front. Friese later had to deal with Christian Craig who made a hard charge to take the lead.
