Lawrence rebounded after losing his winning streak a week ago.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_9796\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" The Lawrence Brothers celebrate podium wins at Thunder Valley. Photo: MX Sports[\/caption]\r\n\r\nIn the first moto, Justin Cooper was out front leading the field. Cooper\u2019s lead continued until Jett began to work his way up the field picking off riders until he reached Cooper. Also, on the move was Hunter Lawrence. Hunter seized the lead with a few minutes to go with Jett finishing second. In the second moto, Justin Cooper was back out front. Halfway through the race, Hunter was back fighting for the lead. Jett was also there, and the battle continued until Jett was able to overtake Cooper for the lead. Hunter also made a pass for second. Jett won the moto with a tight 1.2 second lead.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_9798\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Haiden Deegan captured his third overall Pro Motocross win of the season. Vialle briefly held the top spot until the end when Deegan found an alternate line on the white flag lap and won the moto. In the second Moto, Chance Hymas was out front and ended up winning the moto wire to wire. Once points were calculated, Deegan brought home the overall win.","excerpt":"

In light of recent comments, we felt the need to clarify a couple of points. We were looking forward to continuing with Ken in 2023, and we recently made him an offer of a contract extension. Also going back to back is Jett Lawrence in the 250 class.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe Outdoor Motocross series came to end right where it started at Fox Raceway in Pala, California. Riders battled extreme high temperatures amid a Southern California heatwave. Chase Sexton had the holeshot in Moto 1 with Tomac in tow. Tomac made a mid-race pass and continued to extend his gap on Sexton. Christian Craig had the holeshot in the second moto. Tomac started deep in the top 10 but made quick work of the riders in front of him. Sexton made several mistakes that cost him multiple positions. By the halfway point, Jason Anderson was running up front. Tomac had finally caught up to him. Anderson made a mistake and Tomac capitalized on the moment. Sexton was able to recover, but only making it to second, 9 seconds behind Tomac at the finish.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nTomac had this to say: \u201cI just think of this whole season in its entirety. It\u2019s been the most enjoyable season of my career, by far, starting with supercross and now motocross. This summer was incredible battling with Chase [Sexton]. As the minutes of the moto ticked down, Chase Sexton had made it to second and was chasing down Tomac. Sexton eventually made a pass for the lead, but Tomac stole it back, winning the moto. In the second moto, Sexton shot out of the gate and took the holeshot. Roczen passed Sexton for the lead. Sexton wasn\u2019t having any of it and regained his lead spot. Tomac got by Roczen and began chasing down Sexton. The two battled throughout the moto, but Tomac was never able to get the lead. Sexton came away with the moto win. Both riders came away with the tie.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the 250 class, Nate Thrasher was out front with the holeshot in the first moto. Halfway through the moto, Jett Lawrence made a pass for the lead. Lawrence went on to win the moto. In the second 250 event, Justin Cooper took his turn out front.
