This year\u2019s SCORE Baja 1000 is officially a peninsula run from Ensenada to La Paz. SCORE released the course map to prove it.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3523\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/DSW-Course-Map.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"718\" height=\"876\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe race will run through 1,227 miles of Baja\u2019s best, most punishing and roughest terrain. SCORE is anticipating 300 plus entries for the race. The fastest entries are expected to finish within 22 hours. Racers will have 50-hour time limit to officially complete this year\u2019s Baja 1000. \u00a0Pre-running officially opens October 23<sup>rd<\/sup>.\r\n\r\nThe course begins in Ensenada and winds its way up towards Ojos Negros, then down towards Valle De Trinidad before heading out to the coast towards Colonet and south to San Quintin. It then heads inland to Catavina and south to Cocos Corner. The course passes through Bahia De Los Angeles trekking south to San Ignacio. At mile 750, racers are back running along the Pacific Ocean before heading over the to the Sea of Cortez and down to Loreto. The course then winds westward through Ciudad Constitucion and Insurgentes, finally finishing in the Baja Sur town of La Paz.\r\n\r\nActivities for the 54<sup>th<\/sup> SCORE Baja 1000 begin on November 15<sup>th<\/sup>. While SCORE has not officially come out confirmed where tech and contingency will be held, there have been hints of going back to the pre-covid location in front of the cultural center. BF Goodrich tires has posted a $40,000 bonus for the overall 4-wheel race winner. The race itself gets underway Thursday, November 18<sup>th<\/sup>.","excerpt":"<p>It\u2019s confirmed!
