The Triple Crown brings the upcoming King of the Hammers into the mix with owner Dave Cole.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nBoth race organizations will pool their collective classes to offer both desert and KOH racers the opportunity to compete for cash and other prizes across three events. Both entities will also combine their media, live streaming capabilities and social media channels.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\u201cWe\u2019re absolutely thrilled to be teaming up with Dave and the KOH family once again,\u201d said Mint 400 CEO and Co-Owner Matt Martelli. \u201cTheir addition of desert classes to King of the Hammers these past few years has been great for the sport of off-road racing and they are driving excitement for the entire off-road industry! Racers locking up championships for 2021 in the SCORE World Desert Championship include Rob MacCachren. MacCachren\u2019s win with Luke McMillin at the Baja 1000 cemented the championship for Rob. Ironically, Luke McMillin is the defending champion this year in Trophy Truck. His disqualification at the Baja 500 moved Rob closer to the top. The duo decided to campaign MacCachren\u2019s Trophy Truck race number and use him as driver of record to win points for the championship. MacCachren has four season point championships in the SCORE Trophy Truck division.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nJason McNeil may not have won the SCORE Baja 1000, but he did secure the points championship. McNeil had back to back wins in the Baja 500 and Baja 400 this year in the Trophy Spec division. In addition to winning his class championship, McNeil also secures the overall truck point championship.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nOther class winners include Cody Parkhouse who secured the Class 1 championship. Parkhouse won the SCORE Baja 400. He struggled, unable to finish the Baja 500. With a second-place finish during the Baja 1000, Parkhouse was able to lock up the class championship. Phil Blurton will run the number one plate next year in the Pro UTV Forced Induction class after winning the championship this year.","excerpt":"
