Lucas and Sacha Coenen will make the move from the FIM Motocross World Championship to the AMA SuperMotocross Championship in 2027 after signing multi-year contract extensions with Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. The Belgian twins have established themselves as two of the sport\u2019s brightest young stars. Lucas, currently competing in the MXGP class aboard the KTM 450 SX-F, has already claimed multiple Grand Prix victories and finished runner-up in the 2025 MXGP championship during his rookie premier-class season. Sacha has also been a consistent MX2 front-runner and remains in championship contention in 2026.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_16165\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Lucas Coenen will race in the Supermotocross 450 class in 2027. Beginning in 2027, Lucas will compete in the AMA 450SX\/MX class, while Sacha will race the 250SX\/MX class. Their exact East\/West Supercross scheduling has yet to be determined. The brothers got an early taste of American racing with a wildcard appearance at Thunder Valley, an experience Lucas described as helping confirm his desire to make the move to the United States.<\/p>\r\n
