The 23\u2011year\u2011old racer made the difficult decision, citing ongoing pain and repeated setbacks stemming from the injury.\r\n\r\nRobertson's year began with promise as part of Triumph Factory Racing\u2019s formidable four\u2011rider lineup\u2014joining teammates like Austin Forkner and Jordon Smith. However, his season unraveled quickly: a wrist injury first struck during the initial Monster Energy Supercross race in Anaheim, severely limiting his performance. Despite his efforts to rehabilitate, Robertson re\u2011injured the wrist at Round 1 of Pro Motocross in Pala, California.\r\n

\u201cI\u2019ve made a really hard decision, but with my wrist injury still bothering me, I am stepping away from professional racing.\u201d \u201cI\u2019ve been at the practice track supporting the other riders on the team this summer and I\u2019ve been really enjoying it, as well as helping develop Triumph\u2019s amateur racing program,\u201d said Robertson.<\/p>\r\nAlthough Robertson is stepping back from professional competition, he remains active within the sport\u2014lending his experience to coaching at team practice sessions and aiding the development of Triumph\u2019s amateur racing program. McMillin is stepping away from racing trophy trucks full time to focus on other opportunities.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nMcMillin posted the following statement his Facebook page:\r\n\r\nWell\u2026 it\u2019s officially a sad day. As they say and I\u2019ve said in the past, all good things must come to an end. My race truck has been sold and is off to its new home.\r\n\r\nI have also officially closed the doors of AM31 and will no longer be racing on a full-time basis. This was not an easy decision by any means, probably the hardest of my life actually, but is one that is best for my family and I at this time.\r\n\r\nRacing is in my blood and is my passion; I still think about it non-stop and I don\u2019t think that will ever change. We are keeping our pre-run trucks, chase trucks and all of our pit equipment because I know I\u2019d still like to race in the longer races in whatever capacity or opportunity presents itself.\r\n\r\nI look forward to lots more pre-running adventures with my dad and soon my own kids. It\u2019s been an amazing ride and one that I wouldn\u2019t change for anything as it\u2019s gotten me to right here where I sit today! I\u2019m forever grateful for opportunities from great individuals, companies and teams to have the best equipment and relationships to perform at the highest level and become a champion of the sport. I\u2019ve achieved more than I ever imagined or even dreamed of as a child. There were plenty of lows in my day where I thought even a factory ride of any sort was out of the question let alone winning championships not only in the 250 class but in the 450 class as well. I\u2019ve had an amazing run and even though it isn\u2019t ending exactly how I would\u2019ve wanted, I can say I\u2019m content. Team Honda HRC has announced Kehoe will step down as manager of the US factory Honda team, a position he has held since 2018. Kehoe was also manager of the Honda team from 2002 to 2012.\r\n\r\nKehoe started his career as a Honda-backed professional racer in the late 80\u2019s and early 90\u2019s. During Kehoe\u2019s management tenure, the team earned five AMA Pro National Motocross Championships and two AMA Supercross Championships. Most recently, he worked with Jett Lawrence who just wrapped up the AMA Pro Motocross 250 Championship.\r\n\r\n\u201cThis decision to retire was very difficult, but at the same time, I know it\u2019s time to slow down my pace,\u201d Kehoe said. \u201cI would like to thank American Honda, and [Manager of Sports & Experiential] Brandon Wilson in particular, for giving me the chance to return to the team this last time.
