The race was scheduled to happen at the end of September in Deadwood, South Dakota. The event was supposed to be the newest venue on the series circuit.\r\n\r\nA statement from the series read: \u201cAs Champ Off-Road looks to keep expanding, Black Hills event organizers are working around the clock to bring racers and fans a venue that matches the high standards of the off-road tracks currently tied to the series. We are all working together with the goal of making it an even bigger off-road racing event than we initially thought would be possible.\r\n\r\nAs a result, the series, venue, and regional officials are coming up with a new vision for hosting the action-packed weekend in 2025 rather than forcing its debut for the 2024 season. Both series and local officials are determined to make this a memorable event that is electrifying, tenable, and something everybody can look forward to attending for years to come\u201d.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nChampionship Off Road Racing plans to add Deadwood back on their 2025 schedule. The final event was held in Uruguay over the weekend. X44 Vida finished the event in third place by a half a second. The ABT Cupra XE team secured the event win at the Natural Energy X Prix.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nX44\u2019s team drivers Sebastien Loeb and Cristina Gutierrez did all they could to earn enough points for the weekend. \"We could only go and compete with everything we had and try to score maximum points. In the Final, it was a critical moment because I was fourth and we needed to be third. We had some contact here and there, but there was nothing I could do to overtake. Cristina did a great job to stay very close to the car in front and we knew potentially we were third. At the end it was what we needed so I\u2019m really relieved to be here and really proud to win this championship,\u201d said Loeb.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nBoth teammates drove smart, keeping the race leaders in sight. Up front and behind, teams were receiving penalties for hitting flags, speeding and other rule infractions. Ultimately the pressure loosened for the Vida Carbon team. In the final race, the top three teams in the championship standings were ultimately missing and watching from the paddock including point leaders RXR which gave Vida Carbon a major advantage.","excerpt":"
