Crandon International Raceway is one of the most iconic racetracks in the country. It attracts massive crowds during the weekend and racing on this famed track does not disappoint. Land rush starts, door to door racing action, fast corners are what drivers here look forward to.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_13952\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Keegan Kincaid secured another hometown win at Crandon. Photo: Championship Off Road[\/caption]\r\n\r\nCJ Greaves arrived at Crandon with a 78-point Pro4 lead. After an early lead, Greaves rolled over in a turn. Greaves closest competitor Jimmy Henderson capitalized on the moment, took over the lead and went on to win the race. Henderson has four wins this season. In Pro2, Crandon\u2019s hometown hero Keegan Kincaid was at it again. Kincaid is considered a master at Crandon. Kincaid knows every inch of that track and fans love to watch him wheel around the track. Kincaid nailed the race wire to wire coming away clean out of the landrush start, getting the holeshot and commanding the field all the way to end. Even Kyle Greaves who come dangerously close to Kincaid near the conclusion of the race couldn\u2019t make a pass after charging through over half the field.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_13954\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Johnny Holtger edged closer to winning the championship after a Crandon win. Holtger is in serious contention to wrap up the class championship and his win at Crandon edged him even closer to that goal. Barry was not able to hold on after the second half of the race, slowing with a possible mechanical issue. Matt Woods held on for second place behind Holtger. Other class wins went to Chaden Minder in ProBuggy, Wyatt Miller in ProSpec and Rodney VanEperen in ProSXS.","excerpt":"

I was really excited for today to be able to run from top to bottom. The track just provided a lot of lines. On the restart, Mamer got on the gas and passed Anderson for the lead. Anderson attempted to fight back, unable to pass Mamer. Sunday, saw CJ Greaves on the top podium spot after Mamer spun out on the track. Ronnie Anderson, Johnny Holtger and Ricky Gutierrez all battled for positions. When the dust settled it was Anderson and Ricky G. who held onto the remaining two podium spots. On Sunday, Beat was back in the lead, but Keegan Kincaid wasn\u2019t going to let him win. The series will hold its final round there at the end of September. Glen Helen, known for its iconic elevation changes for motocross, quickly became the go-to track for west coast racing. The race started out with CJ Greaves leading the race. CJ would pull into the hot pits twice with truck issues. Eventually he ended up parking there and becoming a spectator. The carnage in the class continued as Kyle Chaney\u2019s truck caught fire. The safety crew was there in seconds to extinguish the flames. Jimmy Henderson went to battle during the race but broke after heavy contact with Johnny Greaves. Adrian Cenni looked like he would grab another win as he took the lead. A shredded rear tire would close that door, putting a Cenni a lap down after the hot pits. Johnny Greaves rolled causing body panels to fly everywhere. Andrew Carlson became the race leader but crashed after hitting a tractor tire in the infield. That put rookie Kainan Baker in the lead. Baker lost the lead and soon it was the battle of Johnny\u2019s. Johnny Holtger and Johnny Greaves would race to the finish. Johnny Greaves took the victory with Holtger coming in second and Cenni third. \u201cI wasn\u2019t going to let you win one before I won one,\u201d Greaves told Holtger at the podium.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn Pro-2, Ryan Beat had all his ducks in a row. Beat was out front early in the race and dominated. Beat put several truck lengths on his fellow competitors to hold on for the win. Over in Pro-Lite, the race belonged to Trey Gibbs. In the Pro Side-by-Side class, Kainan Baker got passed by Kyle Chaney 100 yards from the finish line. Jeb Bootle secured a win in the Pro Stock side-by-side class.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nWith just a Sprinter Van and a trailer, Lorenzo Bonacci and his dad made the trek to Wisconsin all the way from Southern California to race a pro-buggy in the Championship Off Road racing series. Fans packed the hillside for the final day of racing at the famous Upper Michigan track.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting races of the day was the Pro-4 class. CJ Greaves had the early lead with the rest of field roaring right behind him. Just after the mandatory caution, Jimmy Henderson came off a jump close enough to cause CJ to swerve into a guardrail. Henderson moved into the lead. Unfortunately, Henderson was forced into the hot pits allowing Adrian Cenni to take command of the race. Cenni drove his Pro-4 to his first 2023 win in the Championship Off Road Racing Series.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nThe Pro-2 class also put on another exciting race for the fans with tight door to door action. Points leader, Cory Winner had the lead until Mickey Thomas found enough speed to claim the win. Joining Thomas on the podium was Winner and Kyle Kleiman who was on the track for first time this season.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nIn Pro-Lite, Saturday\u2019s winner Brody Eggleston pulled off the track early with a damaged truck. Madix Bailey had the lead until Trey Gibbs took over. That was short lived as Gibbs hit a rut and rolled the truck. Both Bailey and Kyle Greaves took over the top positions. Greaves was much faster than Bailey, shooting to the lead and making a win stick. Greaves is also the current point leader going into Crandon.","excerpt":"
