They faced two days in the empty quarter with minimal rations, no mechanical support and minus the comforts of the bivouacs.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the car class, Sebastien Loeb claimed the lead for stage 6, navigating beautifully through the dunes in the empty quarter. Carlos Sainz hangs onto the lead in the overall standings. Nasser Al-Attiyah had a rough go breaking suspension parts on his vehicle. Over in the SSV class, Saudi favorite Yasir Seaidan took the win, even with a five-minute penalty. Sara Price came in second. She was also assessed a 1-minute penalty. Eryk Goczal has managed to hold onto the overall lead ahead of Mitch Guthrie Jr in the Challenger class.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nAdrien Van Beveren came out ahead of the Empty Quarter chaos in the bike class. Toby Price finished second, finally getting a spot on the podium this rally. Ricky Brabec has found himself in the overall lead ahead of Ross Branch. The recent rains had modified the course making the ground solid which allowed easy access for the competitors. Once they got into the dunes, it was a different story.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nSkyler Howes moved into overall lead on Stage 5 in the bike class and continues to hold that position. His closest competitor is Toby Price. Howes finished in a consistent 2nd<\/sup> place during today\u2019s stage with Luciano Benavides taking his first victory.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the T3 class it was Guillaume De Mevius with the top finish and Austin Jones coming second. De Mevius now has the overall lead in that class. Jones will need some stage victories to get into the overall top spot.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nIn the car class, Nasser Al-Attiyah continues to lead overall.
