Barcia and the team then elected to sit out the second moto to avoid further aggravating the injury.\r\n\r\nThe ankle strain ruled Barcia out of this weekend\u2019s SMX finale, which would have been his final race with the Ducati team. Barcia and Ducati will officially go their separate ways following the 2026 season. The move ends a relationship that began when Barcia joined Troy Lee Designs for the 2021 season with the factory GASGAS program. Lawrence finished 2-1 on the day, while a crash by championship rival and brother Hunter Lawrence dramatically changed the title fight with just two rounds remaining. Hunter Lawrence entered the Unadilla National with a 12-point advantage over Jett and extended that margin early in the afternoon by winning the opening 450 moto. Jett finished second, with Jorge Prado taking third and Haiden Deegan fourth. The championship battle took a major turn in Moto 2. Hunter again started near the front and was running with the leaders before crashing while entering Unadilla's infamous Screw U section. The deal will see the reigning FIM World SX2 Supercross Champion immediately return to competition for the remainder of the 2026 SuperMotocross World Championship Playoffs before defending his SX2 crown in the FIM World Supercross Championship. Through ClubMX's partnership with Rick Ware Racing, Anstie will represent Rick Ware Racing in the WSX series while competing under the ClubMX banner in AMA competition.<\/p>\r\n<p class=\"isselectedend\">The 33-year-old veteran remained one of the sport's most sought-after riders, making ClubMX's signing one of the biggest rider moves of the summer. Anstie joins Max Vohland, Hunter Yoder, Coty Schock and Daven Simonson as teammates. The agreement extends beyond the current season, with Anstie committed to a full-time 250 campaign with ClubMX in both the 2027 and 2028 seasons.
