Warm weekend temperatures made for some great racing and near perfect track conditions.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6950\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2023GASGlenHelen23_ModKart-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe Modified Kart race saw some great battles between the up and coming youth of the sport. Talan Martin battled with ten of his closest competitors to come out and sweep the weekend. Dane Culver took second on the podium in Saturday\u2019s round 2. Ashton Williams collected that spot in Sunday\u2019s round 3.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone wp-image-6951 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2023GASGlenHelen23_Brister-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/> <img class=\"alignnone wp-image-6952 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2023GASGlenHelen23_Drapkin-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>\r\n\r\nIn Pro Buggy, Matt Brister held the top podium spot during Round 2. Zach Drapkin finished second. In Round 3, Drapkin had all the power he needed to beat Brister taking over the top podium position. Johnny Holtger found the speed he needed with a battle in Pro-Lite, bringing home a Round 2 victory. Connor Barry fell short one spot finishing second. Barry wasn\u2019t done yet, in Sunday\u2019s Round 3, he answered back with a win swapping spots with Holtger. Kyle Knott came away with a pair of third place finishes.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-6955\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/2023GASGlenHelen23_ProLite-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe mini stock class consists of literally stock trucks that have been gutted and caged with minimal safety requirements including a fuel cell and window nets. Robert Orr figured how to stay out front both rounds for a weekend sweep. Defending class champion Anthony Csuzi struggled throughout the weekend but came away with a pair of second place finishes. The season opener was held over the weekend at San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victorville. The event featured a full two-days of racing.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4983\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2022GasRound1_2Victorville_LakeAdler-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nIn Saturday\u2019s Round 1, Ashton Williams held the top spot on the podium in the Junior 2 Kart Class. Mikey Childress was second with Olive Hoover third. Round 2 was drama filled as drivers got into each other leading to cautions. Two black flags were thrown for rough driving. Through it all, Lake Adler saw an opportunity to get to the front, holding on for the win.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4984\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2022GasRound1_2Victorville_TalanMartin-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nIn Modified Kart, Talan Martin swept the weekend. On Sunday, the battle was between sibling Cade Martin. Also sweeping the weekend in the RZR 170 class was Declan Shields.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4986\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/2022GasRound1_2Victorville_CanAM-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nOther podium finishes went to Robert Orr in Mini Stock in Round 1. In Round 2 it was Anthony Csuzi in the top spot.
