Forkner's retirement takes effect immediately. Forkner explained that ongoing nerve damage in his left arm, along with the physical and emotional toll from years of injuries which include a devastating crash at the 2024 Arlington Supercross that ultimately led to the discovery of a brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM) requiring surgery.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_4776\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Austin Forkner at Arlington Supercross in 2022.
