Polvoorde qualified Menzies Trophy Truck on the pole driving the fastest on the 4-mile qualifying course just outside of Ensenada. Menzies who won last year\u2019s Baja 1000 will start out front with a huge advantage.\r\n\r\nThe SCORE Baja 1000 gets started Friday in Ensenada. The course will run 864 down and back up the Baja Peninsula. Entries from 32 states and 18 countries will take the green flag on race day. Competitors have a 36-hour time limit to finish the race. The Menzies team has the possibility of finishing in approximately 15-hours if all goes well.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-11037\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/11\/2024-SCORE-Baja-1000-Qualifying_Davis-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nJustin Davis has the pole position in the highly competitive Trophy Spec class. Davis sits second in the class in the overall championship standings. Racers locking up championships for 2021 in the SCORE World Desert Championship include Rob MacCachren. MacCachren\u2019s win with Luke McMillin at the Baja 1000 cemented the championship for Rob. Ironically, Luke McMillin is the defending champion this year in Trophy Truck. His disqualification at the Baja 500 moved Rob closer to the top. The duo decided to campaign MacCachren\u2019s Trophy Truck race number and use him as driver of record to win points for the championship. MacCachren has four season point championships in the SCORE Trophy Truck division.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-2632\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/Baja500Web_JasonMcNeil-1-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nJason McNeil may not have won the SCORE Baja 1000, but he did secure the points championship. McNeil had back to back wins in the Baja 500 and Baja 400 this year in the Trophy Spec division. In addition to winning his class championship, McNeil also secures the overall truck point championship.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4125\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/SCORE-Points-Champions_Parkhouse-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nOther class winners include Cody Parkhouse who secured the Class 1 championship. Parkhouse won the SCORE Baja 400. He struggled, unable to finish the Baja 500. With a second-place finish during the Baja 1000, Parkhouse was able to lock up the class championship.
