The schedule was packed with an entire day of Pro racing. Everything from Pro-4 to Class 11 to Ultra4 vehicles would have their shot at winning a large check and commemorative World Championship ring at the famed track.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe day\u2019s events got started with the Pro 4 class re-igniting the rivalry between CJ Greaves and RJ Anderson. The two battled door to door for several laps. RJ went on to claim the victory.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Next up was Pro-2. Cory Winner brought the momentum from a Saturday Championship Off Road series win into Sunday\u2019s race. Winner shot out to the front with an early lead and held off massive pressure behind from Jerett Brooks and the other highly competitive Pro-2 drivers. Winner would hold on for the win in a technical weekend podium sweep in the class.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nFollowing up on the second race of the weekend for the Class 11 bugs, Cisco Bio was back out front tackling the high-speed jumps of Crandon International Raceway. Bio added another World Championship ring to his growing collection. In the Ultra4 class, it looked as if Paul Wolff was going to grab another win just as he done the night before in the rocks. Unfortunately, bad luck struck. Wolff and Loren Healy made contact coming off a jump in the front stretch. Wolff did all he could to save it but was unsuccessful. Meantime out front, Vaughn Gittin Jr was on the move to claim a Crandon World Championship win.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nChad Rayford brought home his first ever World Championship win in the Pro-Spec class. In Pro-Lite, nobody had anything for the always consistent Kyle Greaves who celebrated with an oversize $5,000 check on the podium. Michael Meister came away with the Pro-Buggy win.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nThe countdown to the final event of the day- the Red Bull Cup race had arrived. It was the race all of the fans and drivers were waiting for. The race pits Pro-2 against Pro-4 trucks. It\u2019s an all-out knockout door banging battle. The winner takes home a huge check, custom shot gun and of course gets to add their name to the perpetual Cup that lives in Crandon. Every driver wants these accolades and only the best survives. The first green flag flew with Pro-2 rumbling around turn one. Keegan Kincaid had the holeshot. A massive crash by Myan Spacarelli would cause a full restart. Once again, the flag was thrown for Pro-2. Kincaid navigated through the chaos to get another holeshot. Just seconds later Pro-4 trucks came roaring around turn one. As the laps ticked down Keegan stayed on the gas as RJ Anderson began to hunt him down. Keegan made it through to the final lap for the win putting the Pro-2 class back on top for the Cup.\r\n\r\n\"\"","excerpt":"

The series which was formed in early 2020 hosted their points rounds Saturday. The race is part of a bigger weekend of events that are held annually in Crandon.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nEvents kicked off with a private VIP party hosted at Jamey Flannery\u2019s house on the lake. Country recording artist Joe Nichols performed for attendees. The annual parade was held in downtown Crandon.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nSportsman races were held Friday afternoon at the track. Saturday, the Pro racers finally had their chance get on the track. Cole Mamer won in Pro-Light, pretty much checking out in the lead. Chad Rayford found himself in second on the podium.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nTruck counts were up this year at Crandon. 19 Pro-2\u2019s showed up to race. There was plenty of the usual door banging and carnage. Jerett Brooks won the top spot on the podium.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nPro-4 was the most eventful race of the day. Jamey Flannery got underneath Bryce Menzies sending him flying in the air in a spectacular crash. A few laps later, Johnny Greaves took the lead away from Kyle Leduc. Greaves lost control just before turn one, flying through the air in a heart-stopping crash. The safety team immediately got to him and it was determined Greaves would be ok. The race finally resumed, and Kyle Leduc took the win.\r\n\r\n\"\" \"\"\r\n\r\nIn the final event of the night, Ultra-4 cars raced as part of their own points series. Bailey Cole sent his car flying into a pond, completely submerging the vehicle. Loren Healy would end up winning the race.","excerpt":"
