The California 300 held in Barstow, California over the weekend attracted several dozen racers. Hardin went neck and neck with Adam Householder. Nic Whetstone was the fastest qualifier and started the race out front. Mechanical issues would force him off the track after leading first the lap.\r\n\r\n[caption id=\"attachment_10764\" align=\"alignnone\" width=\"640\"]\"\" Jack Olliges leads the Spec Class at the California 300 in Barstow. Photo: UNLTD Off Road Racing[\/caption]\r\n\r\nOver in the Spec class, top qualifier Kyle Jergensen also had problems on the rough Barstow course. Cole Hardin was racing in the class, but Jack Olliges proved to be faster and took the victory.
