The truck designed specifically for off-road is a prototype with collaboration from Vaughn Gittin Jr and his RTR FunHaver team. Inspiration from the truck came from the 2016 RTR Fun-Haver project truck.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8628\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/F-150-Lightning-Switchgear_Flying-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/> <img class=\"alignnone wp-image-8629 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/F-150-Lightning-Switchgear_Front-300x201.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" \/> \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <img class=\"alignnone wp-image-8630 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/F-150-Lightning-Switchgear_Rear-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe truck has all of the off-road accessories one would come to expect on an extreme performance vehicle including Fox 3-inch internal bypass shocks. The bumpers were designed to improve approach and departure angles. The vehicle has a double-wishbone suspension at the front and multi-link independent suspension at the rear. There are rock rails, skid plat and limit straps. Inside, the seats feature a Recaro harness system.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-8627\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/F-150-Lightning-Switchgear-Interior-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nThe truck has NITTO Ridge Grappler 37-inch tires. Vaughn Gittin has been putting the F-150 Lightning Switchgear through its paces. Visions was the second national event on the Ultra4 schedule and fourth event this year for series competitors to bank season points. Visions was important for racers because it paid double points. While the course was relatively short, racers had to contend with tight turns, large trees and muddy conditions for two hours plus one lap.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-7293\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/MAO-Visions-U4-4400_Wolf-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/> <img class=\"alignnone wp-image-7294 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/MAO-Visions-U4-4400_Crofts-300x200.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"200\" \/> <img class=\"alignnone wp-image-7295 \" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/MAO-Visions-U4-4400_Gittin-Jr-300x176.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"341\" height=\"200\" \/>\r\n\r\nPaul Wolff started on the pole position after Wednesday\u2019s qualifying session in the premiere 4400 class. When the green flag dropped, Wolff launched through the woods and never looked back. Less than halfway through the race, Wolff had already found himself picking his way through lap traffic. Wolff continued on a mission taking the checkered flag just two hours later followed by Brian Crofts and Vaughn Gittin Jr. Bad luck struck Loren Healy again. Healy bent a driveshaft going up a rock hill on the course ending his day.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-7296\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/MAO-Visions-U4_4800-Winner-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" \/>\r\n\r\nOver in the Everyman Challenge category, Jeremy Jones finished ahead of the pack in the 4800 legends class. Cody St Clair also finished in the top podium spot in the 4500 modified class. The 4600 stock vehicles ran Thursday afternoon at Visions. Championships will be decided at Legends of the Fall, set to take place at the South Lake Grand Lake Recreation area in the Disney\/Langley, Oklahoma area October 27<sup>th<\/sup>-30<sup>th<\/sup>.\r\n\r\nDisney is known as a top rock crawling destination in Oklahoma. Disney, named after US Congressman Wesley E. Disney has just over 200 residents. The draw to this location is Grand Lake, hidden below the Pensacola Dam. The area features rock gardens, hill climbs and trails. Within the immediate area there five state parks. Each weekend the area fills up with off-road enthusiasts looking to have a good time. That makes this the perfect venue to host the Ultra4 Legends of the Fall event.\r\n\r\n<img class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5796\" src=\"https:\/\/dirtsportsworld.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/Ultra4-Legends-of-the-Fall-Preview_VaughnGittinJr-1024x628.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"393\" \/>\r\n\r\nFormer KOH King Josh Blyler currently sits atop the national points standings and is looking to stretch out his lead during Legends of the Fall in the premiere 4400 class. Vaughn Gittin Jr from the Fun Haver team is looking to make up a forty-five-point deficit in his rock modified unlimited Ford Bronco. Casey Gilbert is also in the hunt. Rick Lavezzo has the lead in the 4500 Modified class. Vaughn Gittin Jr also has another Bronco he has been campaigning in the 4600-stock class and has only a twelve-point deficit to catch leader Brad Lovell. Bailey Cole also sits third in the standings and is within striking distance of a national championship. Other points leaders include Ryan Taylor in 4800 limited, Paul Wolff in Pro Mod, Joshua Smith in UTV stock and Mark Welch in UTV Open.\r\n\r\nThe National Rock Racing Association will also hold their championships during the weekend at the Grand Lake venue.
