Best In The Desert Sets June Date for Silver State 300

Best In the Desert has set a date of June 25-27, 2020 for the Silver State 300 race. The race had been put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. BLM gave the series the green light as long as social distancing is adhered to.

Best In the Desert held a recent online town hall meeting to discuss what the future of the series looks like with new health guidelines and how they plan to keep racers safe. An online survey was put up asking racers if they would be ready for a June race. Best in the Desert received an overwhelming 92 percent “yes” from participants. To accommodate those who can’t travel and race the event, Best In The Desert will offer one throw-away race this season. Racers will still be eligible to win a championship.

“We are super excited to get back to racing and want to thank everyone for taking time to fill out the survey,” commented Best In The Desert CMO Bryan Folks. “We couldn’t have made this decision without the support of the racing community and it’s just another indication of why off-road racers, and in particular Best In The Desert racers, are the most dedicated racers on the planet.”

The Sliver State 300 will take place near Alamo, Nevada.
