Feld Entertainment has finalized the 2021 Supercross schedule. With the ongoing pandemic, event dates and locations had to be re-arranged. One major change to 2021 is that are no scheduled events in California. The usual opening round at Anaheim stadium has been moved. The first three rounds will be held in Houston, Texas at NRG Stadium. The season will also start a couple of weeks later than normal with the event being held on January 18th. Seventeen rounds of Supercross are on the schedule. All of the triple-crown events are on hold for 2021.
The rounds scheduled for Glendale, Arizona have also been removed. Supercross will instead hold events in Orlando, Florida and Salt Lake City, Utah. Organizers had to make a tough decision with the current attendance restrictions and local health guidelines. The final event of the season will be held at Rice-Eccles stadium in Salt Lake City on May 1st. We will have a preview on the teams in the January issue of DirtSportsWorld Magazine.
