Cooper Webb Moves Past Roczen for Supercross Season Points Lead

Cooper Webb now has the Supercross points lead, a position that Ken Roczen had for most of the season. Webb’s recent wins including the one Saturday night at Arlington, earned him the top spot.

Dean Wilson snagged the holeshot when the gate dropped for the main event. Cooper Webb wasted no time taking the lead. As time wound down, Webb began to stretch his lead out putting plenty of distance behind his closest competitor Justin Barcia. Jason Anderson finished the race in third with Ken Roczen finishing sixth and dropping him to second in points.

In the Western Regional 250SX class, rookie Seth Hammaker grabbed the holeshot and the win.  Behind Hammaker, Hunter Lawrence was running in second. Jordon Smith was running in third when Cameron McAdoo made a pass. Shortly after that, Justin Cooper charged past McAdoo. McAdoo regained his position and Cooper attempted to make another move, but McAdoo managed to hold on to his position at the checkered flag.

Saturday nights Supercross race at Arlington is part of a triple header with Round 11 to be held this Tuesday night.
