Legacy Racing Holds Two-Day Race Event in Nevada

The Legacy Racing Association held a two-day desert race in Nevada over the weekend. The 600-mile race started north of Alamo. Day one ended in Tonopah where the following day, racers ran another 300 miles to the finish in near Pahrump. A qualifying session was held for the unlimited classes. The race had 132 entries spread across motorcycle, car and truck classes.

Coming off a winning streak at another desert series, Kevin Thompson and Harley Letner entered their unlimited truck in the Legacy Baja Nevada race. They didn’t even need to clean the dust off of it. The team came in first both days earning them the overall win. Eric Hustead and TJ Flores took second in the class. Jake Johnson also pulled off an overall Class 1 win. In the 6100 class, Brent Fox was the overall winner.
