Great American Shortcourse Hosts Season Finale at San Bernardino County Fairgrounds

The Great American Shortcourse Series hosted their final two rounds of the season at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds in Victorville, California. It was there, season points champions were crowned. Several classes saw tight points battles coming into the weekend. Door to door racing would determine those that came out on top.

In the Youth and Kart classes, Declan Shields earned a season championship in the RZR 170 class. Over in the Junior 2 Kart class, Mikey Childress stood high atop the podium excited to win his championship trophy. Luke Berry won the Junior 1 Kart championship over rival Chase Berry. Talan Martin beat out Cade Martin by five points to secure the Modified Kart Championship.

One of the best battles on track this season was in the Pro Buggy class. Matt Brister and Zach Drapkin have neck and neck. Drapkin claimed his first championship in the class over Brister. Both fought hard this season for podium positions. Robby Hornsby took home final win of the season in Pro-Lite earning him the championship over Kyle Knott. The points battle was also tight in that class. In Pro-2 it was Ricky Gutierrez who the secured the top spot.

Other championship wins went to Cody Hodgson in Production 1000 UTV and Oliver Golding in the Production Turbo UTV class. Kevin Streety secured a 1600 buggy championship with Brian Cannon winning the Mini Open class. Anthony Csuzi was crowned champion in the Min Stock category.
