The FIM World Supercross Championship Series is adding a race in Abu Dhabi to the 2023 schedule. The Abu Dhabi race will take place at Ehithad Arena on Yas Island, November 4th and 5th. The arena had hosted large sports events such as Formula 1, UFC and the NBA, but never a Supercross race.
“We’re extremely proud to announce the WSX Abu Dhabi GP. Yas Island is known for the standard of excellence in hosting some of the biggest events in the region including other major events like Formula 1, UFC, and NBA,” said SX Global’s CEO, Adam Bailey.
The event is being promoted by Ethara, one of the region’s biggest event, entertainment and venue management companies. Ethara delivers over 700 major events to the region.
