Jett Lawrence is still undefeated at the Pro Motocross Championship. Jett came away with another 1-1 victory claiming a sixth straight overall win at the legendary Wick 338 in Southwick, Massachusetts. Meantime in the 250 class, Tom Vialle came away with his first career 250 overall victory in the series.
In Moto 1 of the 450 class, Chase Sexton and Jett were out front. Sexton secured the holeshot, but his lead was very short lived as Jett made a pass for the lead. Jett continued to extend his lead riding to his 11th straight moto win. In the second moto, Dylan Ferrandis claimed the holeshot. Jett was there to overtake the lead in the first lap. At some point, Sexton had worked his way through field, knocking on Jett’s back tire. Jett wouldn’t budge, winning his 12th straight moto and going home with another overall win.
In the 250 class, Justin Cooper was out front with the holeshot. Tom Vialle was chasing Cooper down. In the final minutes of the moto, Cooper went down allowing Vialle to capitalize on the lead position. Vialle went on to grab his first career win. In the second 250 moto, Vialle was back out front with the holeshot. Jo Shimoda made a pass for the lead stick halfway into the moto. Justin Cooper appeared to challenge Shimoda late in the game but went down. Shimoda continued to maintain the lead and grab his first moto win of the season. Vialle finished third, earning him a career first overall win for the weekend.
