Rosberg X Racing brought home another Extreme E win at Round 6 at the Island X Prix in Sardinia, Italy. The win is a back to back milestone for the team.
“We had a great weekend here in Sardinia, which seems to be a proper RXR Island. Yesterday we managed to take the win from a very tricky grid slot, and then today, we found ourselves in the same slot again but went for a different tactic, and when I saw a small gap I went for it. For a split second, I regretted it because there was no space, but I managed to get through, and from there, I managed the pace quite well,” said team driver Johan Kristoffersson.
The race saw a new double-header format to make things more exciting. While Rosberg X Racing has secured back-to-back wins, Veloce racing sits first atop the point standings. Rosberg is just four points out of the lead as the season hits the halfway point. Rosberg X Racing won all three of their races. The Accionia Sainz XE team came in second.
