Stage 9 of the Dakar Rally was another difficult one with plenty of challenging Saudi terrain. The competitors went from Ha’il to Alula. In the car class, Sebastien Loeb secured another stage win ahead of Carlos Sainz who remains the overall leader.

Adrien Van Beveren enjoyed a stage win as well. Ricky Brabec finished second keeping him in the lead in the overall standings ahead of Ross Branch. Nicolas Cavigliasso finished first in the Challenger class. Mitch Guthrie Jr leads the class overall with just a few days left on the rally.

Cristiano Batista found himself as the leader today in the SSV class for a stage win. Xavier De Soultrait sits just ahead of Sara Price in the overall standings.
