Stage Ten took riders on a short 381-mile loop in the Saudi Arabian desert. With two days left, Ricky Brabec took the stage win keeping him in the overall lead. Second place overall Ross Branch lost time today but is still in contention in the points.
Over in the SSV class, Brabec’s girlfriend Sara Price became the third woman to get a stage win at the Dakar. History in the making! Price sits second overall in points. In the Challenger class, Mitch Guthrie Jr continues to lead the overall standings and is very good contention to get a win at the Rally. Marcelo Tiglia Gastaldi took the stage win.
In the car class, Frenchman Guerlain Chicherit came away with a stage win. Carlos Sainz struggled with tire punctures costing him valuable time. Sainz continues to lead in the overall lead.
