In the wake of the turmoil left over by Mid America Outdoors abandoning the Ultra4 series, Hammerking Productions CEO Dave Cole has taken back control. Cole named John Goodby as the commissioner. Goodby is the current owner of the NorCal Rock Racing Series. Goodby will be responsible for managing the budget and overseeing operations. USAC will handle Technical and Competition direction.
Cole said in a statement released on social media that he will arrange for the series to be fully funded for the next two years with full transparency. Both the east coast and west coast will have two events with a national final in Davis, Oklahoma. There will be two “international” races as well at Crandon and in Mexico at the NORRA Mexican 1000.
