Cooper Webb Wins Arlington Supercross

After a weekend off, Supercross racing was back with Round 7 in Arlington, Texas. Cooper Webb took home the victory with his sixth career win at the stadium.

Jett Lawrence had the holeshot at the gate drop. Lawrence came into Arlington as the season points leader running the red plate. Eli Tomac made a mistake in a corner and went down. Ken Roczen also went down on his Suzuki bike. Tomac made a hard a charge to back to the front. Jett suddenly went sideways, losing his balance, allowing Webb to pass for the lead and the win. Tomac was able to finish in second.

In the second round of the Eastern Regional 250 class, Haiden Deegan claimed his first career Supercross win. Deegan was out front early with the holeshot. Austin Forkner went down towards the end of the race with a hard crash. Forkner was taken to a local hospital. According to a social media post from Kawasaki, Forkner suffered a spine and scapula injury.
