Jett Lawrence Wins at Daytona Supercross

Jett Lawrence continues to extend his points lead after winning Round 8 at the Daytona International Speedway.  Jett leads Cooper Webb by 10 points. Seconds before the gate drop, Jett’s team changed a rear tire on his bike.

Chase Sexton had the holeshot and led a few laps before Eli Tomac took the lead. Tomac has won five straight events at Daytona, but Saturday night was only able to come away with a second-place podium finish after Jett charged hard to the front. Chase Sexton rounded out the podium in third.

Over in the Eastern Regional 250 class, Tom Vialle earned his first ever Supercross victory. While Vialle didn’t have the best start, he clawed his way up to the front for the victory. It’s nice to grab that win. I had my first podium last weekend and first win today in Daytona. Track was tough. I actually feel good, I could have [ridden] like 30 minutes, I think. So, its pretty nice, bike was nice,” said Vialle.  Cameron McAdoo and Seth Hammaker claimed the other two podium spots.
