The 2024 Mint 400 is underway. Events kicked off Wednesday with a vehicle parade down the famous Las Vegas Strip ending at the historic downtown Fremont Street where the original Mint 400 race began. The parade was led by Grand Marshal Ivan Stewart.
Photo: Mint 400“The Mint 400 Vehicle Parade produces some of the coolest visuals of the entire Mint 400 week each year,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “Showing off all the amazing vehicles to compete in this year’s Great American Off-Road Race to the whole city of Las Vegas is always a treat, but it was even more of an honor to have a legend like Ivan Stewart leading us down the Strip this year.”
The limited race starts in Primm Friday morning, while the Unlimited horsepower trucks will qualify on a separate course. Saturday they have a chance to battle it out on the rough, dusty course. Motorcycles will also race early Saturday morning. There are well over 250 entries combined for the Mint 400. The race will be livestreamed via themint400.com.
