The Pro Motocross season is at the halfway point. With Jett Lawrence out of the running with an injury, it was Chase Sexton’s turn to sweep both motos in front his hometown crowd at RedBud MX in Buchanan, Michigan.

In the first moto, Hunter Lawrence was out front with the holeshot. Soon, Chase Sexton who was running third, made a pass on Aaron Plessinger. Sexton soon went on the attack. Navigating lap traffic, Sexton passed Lawrence for the lead and the moto win. In the second moto, Jason Anderson held the holeshot and lead. It wasn’t long before Sexton took control of the lead and stayed there for another moto win and the overall sweep.

Ty Masterpool had the holeshot in the 250 class. Behind him, Chance Hymas was aggressively working his way to the lead and was soon successful putting over six seconds on the field. Masterpool attempted to close the gap. Masterpool got around Hymas as did Haiden Deegan. Masterpool won the moto with Deegan finishing second. In the next moto, Hymas was back in the lead and never looked back, going for the moto win and overall victory.
