Christopher Polvoorde is teaming up with Bryce Menzies for this year’s SCORE Baja 1000. Polvoorde qualified Menzies Trophy Truck on the pole driving the fastest on the 4-mile qualifying course just outside of Ensenada. Menzies who won last year’s Baja 1000 will start out front with a huge advantage.
The SCORE Baja 1000 gets started Friday in Ensenada. The course will run 864 down and back up the Baja Peninsula. Entries from 32 states and 18 countries will take the green flag on race day. Competitors have a 36-hour time limit to finish the race. The Menzies team has the possibility of finishing in approximately 15-hours if all goes well.

Justin Davis has the pole position in the highly competitive Trophy Spec class. Davis sits second in the class in the overall championship standings. A Baja win could catapult Davis ahead of Thor Herbst who is the current points leader.
