After a much-needed rest day, the rally resumed over the weekend with Stage 6 on Saturday. The special was a long one. Ricky Brabec finally got his much-needed win in the bike class. Francisco Lopez Contardo won again in the SSV class for Can-Am. Guillaume De Mevius won in the car class.
Sunday’s Stage 7 took competitors through Al Dudawadimi. Daniel Sanders was victorious in the bike class. Lucas Moraes put his Toyota on the podium. It was another Can Am win but this time the driver was Jeremias Gonzalez Ferioli.
Monday’s Stage 8 started in Al Duwadimi and ended in Riyadh. Luciano Benavides won the bike class. Daniel Sanders continues to march on towards the overall lead. Henk Lategan won the stage for Toyota Gazoo Racing. Lategan moves to the overall lead in the car class. Jermias Gonzalez Ferioli brough in another stage win in the SSV class. Brock Heger continues to the lead overall.
