Christopher Polvoorde Wins King of the Hammers Unlimited Desert Challenge

Christopher Polvoorde has won the Unlimited Desert Challenge at the King of the Hammers. Polvoorde repeated his overall win following up where he left off in 2024. Polvoorde qualified for the race on the pole and was out front with clean air when the green flag flew and never looked back.

Christopher Polvoorde won the Unlimited Desert race at King of the Hammers for the second year in a row.

“It feels good. It was a long day and a rough course, but it was a lot of fun, though. Mike Kim and I and the team went in with a plan and stuck to it and now we are here,” said Povoorde at the finish line.

Kyle Jergensen won the Spec class at the King of the Hammers.
Brock Heger, fresh off a Dakar win took the victory in the King of the Hammers Limited Desert race.

Over in the Spec class or T2, Kyle Jergensen claimed the win. Jergensen was also second overall in Sunday’s race. In Saturday’s limited race event, Brock Heger brought home the victory in his Polaris RZR. Heger is fresh off of an overall UTV victory at the Dakar Rally.
