The 2025 Monster Energy FIM Motocross des Nations concluded Sunday at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana, with Australia defending their crown in dominant fashion to take the Chamberlain Trophy on American soil.

In the premier moto (MXGP + MX2), Australia’s Jett Lawrence powered to victory, crossing the line ahead of Lucas Coenen and Tim Gajser
Following them were Eli Tomac in 4th and Romain Febvre in 5th, rounding out the top five.
Team USA entered the event under a cloud of uncertainty. Chase Sexton was forced to withdraw after suffering a concussion and shoulder injury in the SuperMotocross finale. In his place, RJ Hampshire was drafted to ride in the Open class.
Meanwhile, Haiden Deegan, having broken his collarbone, underwent surgery just days before the event but still attempted to race.

Despite home-track advantage and fierce effort, the American squad fell short of the top step. Their final point tally did not match Australia’s consistency across all motos.
